Business Development Representative – Healthcare Platform

About the Role

Open Cove Canada is looking for a driven Business Development Representative to help expand our presence across Western Canada. If you have experience in sales, relationship-building, or pharma/healthcare environments, this role is for you. You’ll be introducing clinics, practitioners, and healthcare organizations to our digital healthcare platform, demonstrating how it improves patient experience, operational efficiency, and clinic growth.

• Build and manage a pipeline of clinics and healthcare practices in the Vancouver region.
• Conduct outbound outreach (calls, emails, visits) to generate interest and book demos.
• Educate prospects on platform features, pricing, and ROI.
• Manage territory planning similar to a pharma rep — consistent touchpoints, follow-ups, and field visits.
• Deliver polished product demos to clinic owners and decision-makers.
• Track all activities in the CRM and hit monthly/quarterly targets.
• Attend industry events, conferences, and local meetups to build brand presence.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide feedback from the field.

• Experience in sales, healthcare sales, pharma rep work, or a customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage a territory and work independently.
• Comfort speaking with clinic owners, physicians, and health providers.
• Competitive mindset with a focus on hitting numbers.
• Valid driver’s license is a plus but not mandatory if working hybrid.
