AboutThe Role
The Provincial Sales Manager will play a key role in how Rubicon manages and grows its business with Canada's provincial cannabis boards, including BCLDB, AGLC and OCS, with additional support for SQDC. This role combines provincial relationship management, commercial execution and analytics. You will work closely with provincial board counterparts to support new listings, manage purchase order flow, monitor inventory and sales performance, and identify opportunities and risks across Rubicon's portfolio.
Internally, you will connect Sales with Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain, bringing timely market and customer insights into forecasting and planning. You will play an important role in improving forecast accuracy, inventory visibility and Rubicon's evolving S&OP process. This is a full-time, permanent position, with a strong preference for candidates based in the Vancouver area.

- Manage and strengthen relationships with key provincial boards, including BCLDB, AGLC and OCS, while supporting Rubicon's relationship with SQDC.
- Develop and deliver compelling product, category and market presentations to provincial board partners, using data and insights to strengthen Rubicon's position and identify growth opportunities.
- Coordinate provincial listing submissions with Brand and other internal partners, including sell-in materials, timelines, follow-ups and execution requirements.
- Manage purchase order flow and monitor provincial inventory, sales performance and availability to identify risks and opportunities early.
- Own the quality and timeliness of provincial sales inputs into the demand planning process and challenge assumptions where customer, inventory or market information suggests a different outlook.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain to review forecast accuracy, inventory performance, listings and market trends.
- Translate provincial sales, inventory and market data into clear insights and recommended actions for internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve commercial reporting, forecasting discipline, sales processes and cross-functional communication.

Commercial & Analytical Skills- Strong analytical capability and attention to detail, with the ability to turn complex sales, inventory and market data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
- Working knowledge of sales forecasting, demand planning, inventory management and forecast accuracy.
- Experience supporting commercial activities such as listings, purchase orders, assortment, pricing, promotions or sales performance analysis.
- Confidence working with large datasets, sales and reporting tools, and demand planning or business intelligence platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to both external customers and internal stakeholders.
- Approximately 4-7+ years of progressive experience in sales, key account management, sales operations, commercial analytics, category management, demand planning or a related discipline.
- Experience managing complex or regulated customers, such as provincial boards, government-controlled distribution or similarly structured accounts, is a strong asset.
- Experience contributing to forecasting, inventory planning and commercial decision-making.
