In this position, you will support a diverse roster of clients, primarily Indigenous communities, in navigating complex environmental regulations and assessments.
Your role will incorporate technical data analysis, strategic planning, and collaboration with stakeholders, promoting optimal decision-making for sustainable project outcomes. This position encourages the development of problem-solving skills through creative solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in technical committees and environmental review support
• Conduct literature reviews for cultural and environmental topics
• Author and prepare a range of documents for diverse audiences
• Facilitate meetings ensuring action items are tracked
• Assist in project coordination for comprehensive client support
Requirements:
• 3-7 years of professional experience required
• Bachelor’s degree related to environmental management or planning
• Understanding of EIA in Canada and Indigenous Knowledge
• Familiarity with social, cultural, and spatial data analysis
• Valid driver’s license for on-site client work
