In this consultant role, you will contribute to projects aimed at protecting freshwater and marine ecosystems across Western Canada. Your responsibilities will include fieldwork, critical data analysis, and technical reporting to support environmental stewardship. Collaborate with diverse teams to enhance regulatory decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement aquatic field research programs in varied environments
• Manage data related to water and sediment quality
• Prepare detailed reports for environmental monitoring efforts
• Maintain high standards of data quality and methodological rigor
Requirements:
• BSc in Aquatic Biology or a related field
• At least 2 years of aquatic research experience
• Strong skills in data analysis using R or similar tools
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
• Driver's license for travel to client locations
