Geological Technician

Position: Contract Geological Technician Opportunity

Coeur Mining, Inc. is looking for a dynamic Geological Technician for a temporary position. This role focuses on assisting geologists with core sampling, logging data, and ensuring safe operations for all equipment. Candidates should be prepared for demanding physical work and possess relevant geologic knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform geotechnical logging for oriented diamond drill core

• Maintain logging data and coordinate shipments of samples

• Sample and cut diamond drill core safely

• Track and catalogue drill core meticulously

• Conduct pre-operational checks and operate machinery

Requirements:

• Strong geologic knowledge considered beneficial

• Post-secondary education in geosciences an asset

• Experience with oriented core logging preferred

• Must hold a valid driver’s license

• Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds as needed
