Exploration Geologist

McFarlane Lake Mining Limited. is looking for an experienced exploration geologist.

McFarlane Lake Mining Limited. is a mineral exploration and development company based in Sudbury, Ontario. Our focus is on the world-class Abitibi greenstone belt, and our principal assets include a 100% interest in the Juby Gold Project located west of Gowganda and the McMillan Polymetallic gold Project located southwest of Sudbury.

This is a full‑time role for a Exploration Geologist at McFarlane Lake Mining Limited. If you are seeking a challenge and are looking to gain experience in all aspects of mineral exploration, this job is for you. As a Exploration Geologist, you will be responsible for the day‑to‑day operations, including field work, core logging, geological mapping and drilling. This role is based in Gowganda, ON, but willing to consider surrounding areas.

The role will require travel to remote field work 3 hours North of Sudbury. Rotation work of 10-11/11-10 or custom rotation could be considered.

• Ability to conduct remote field work in a safe manner
• Geological mapping experience
• Experience with all aspects of a diamond drilling program
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field
• PGO designation an asset or ability to obtain PGO.
• Experience in mineral exploration is a strong asset
