This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to conduct field programs across Western Canada. You’ll perform environmental monitoring, collect data on various species and habitats, and communicate findings through detailed reports. Working together with project managers and experts in the field will enhance your professional development while ensuring project quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct wildlife surveys and vegetation assessments
• Monitor construction activities for environmental compliance
• Prepare technical reports for environmental assessments
• Collaborate with biologists, ecologists, and engineers
• Engage in self-development and professional associations
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in biology or ecology
• 1-2 years in environmental consulting or related field
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license for fieldwork
• Ability to travel in various terrains and weather conditions
