As Marine Biologist, you will manage environmental permitting and monitor compliance across various marine and freshwater projects. This role involves mentoring team members, meeting client expectations, and writing technical reports. You'll tackle projects including construction and dredging in the Greater Vancouver region and beyond, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage environmental permitting and compliance projects
• Lead project teams and mentor junior staff
• Write and review technical reports for client deliverables
• Oversee compliance with Fisheries and Water Sustainability Acts
• Communicate effectively with clients and regulatory agencies
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. degree or higher in relevant field
• Registered Professional Biologist (RPBIO) or pending
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
• Experience in environmental monitoring and assessments
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
