Hatch is seeking a Senior Aquatic Resource Specialist to enhance our environmental consulting services. With over 8 years of experience in managing fisheries and aquatics on significant mining and infrastructure projects, you'll lead client relationships, direct technical efforts, and mentor teams. Collaborate across disciplines to implement creative solutions that meet regulatory standards and enrich the communities we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead environmental consulting practice for fisheries and aquatics
• Manage DFO Fisheries Act Authorizations and related projects
• Identify business opportunities in the environmental sector
• Provide technical guidance and quality review for project deliverables
• Mentor junior staff and participate in resource planning
Requirements:
• Degree in aquatic environmental sciences or related field
• 8-15+ years in fisheries and aquatics project management
• BC Registered Professional Biologist in good standing
• Strong client engagement and business development record
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
