Senior Fisheries Specialist

In this vital position, your extensive knowledge of aquatic ecosystems will be key as you oversee aquatic assessments, prepare technical reports, and engage with various stakeholders. You will apply your expertise to ensure compliance with important regulations and lead a team of professionals in environmental science.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct fish and fish habitat surveys with precision
• Develop and implement water quality monitoring programs
• Prepare environmental assessments and regulatory submissions
• Mentor and support staff development and training
• Oversee permitting processes and stakeholder engagement
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in fisheries and aquatic biology
• At least 13 years of environmental consulting experience
• Registration as a Professional Biologist mandatory
• Proven track record in Health and Safety management
• Excellent technical writing and field skills
