Become an Environmental Risk Assessment Consultant with SLR Consulting and play a key role in advancing sustainability initiatives across Canada. Contribute your expertise in human health and ecological risk assessments to important projects.
This full-time position offers the chance to work alongside experienced professionals within the Risk Assessment and Toxicology team. You'll handle contaminated site projects and collaborate with various stakeholders, enhancing your regulatory knowledge. This role pushes you to deepen your technical expertise while engaging in substantial environmental challenges impacting multiple sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement risk assessments and management plans
• Assess tissue data for ecological and human evaluations
• Build conceptual site models through field data analysis
• Communicate technical findings to stakeholders
• Mentor and support junior staff development
Requirements:
• Graduate degree in biology, toxicology, chemistry, or similar
• Minimum of 5 years in risk assessment preparation
• Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
• Experience with toxicological and biological studies
• Driver’s license required for occasional travel
