Join Hatfield as an Environmental Management Specialist, helping oversee infrastructure projects in North Vancouver or New Westminster, BC. You will supervise teams, manage environmental compliance, and ensure successful project implementation.
Hatfield is seeking a specialist with a background in relevant environmental disciplines and at least five years of experience managing infrastructure development projects. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams and will be involved in technical assistance for permits and environmental assessments. This role entails effective project management and coordination to ensure the utmost environmental protection.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise environmental technicians and specialists on projects
• Manage project implementation, from budgeting to client liaison
• Oversee environmental field surveys and technical assistance
• Prepare compliance documents like environmental protection plans
• Coordinate data collection and field monitoring activities
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in environmental science or related field
• 5 years managing environmental aspects of projects
• Relevant professional certification is an asset
• Experience with environmental regulatory requirements
• Valid Canadian driver’s license and access to a vehicle
