WSP is in search of an Intermediate Spatial Ecologist to join its dedicated Ecology team. This role involves integrating emerging technologies into traditional ecological practices to improve environmental analysis and planning. Your skills in Python, GIS, and machine learning will contribute significantly to multidisciplinary projects aimed at addressing ecological issues in Canada and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct spatial analysis across various ecological sectors

• Create and execute Python and GIS workflows

• Utilize remote sensing data for environmental assessments

• Visualize data results using Python or R

• Document analytical processes in technical reports

Requirements:

• Master's in Ecology, Environmental Science, or similar

• 5–10 years of applied spatial ecology experience

• Proficient in GIS platforms like ArcGIS Pro

• Solid programming skills in Python

• Proven record of analyzing ecological data
