This role is vital to the Environmental Assessment and Community Engagement team, which provides exceptional service to clients across British Columbia. With at least five years of experience, you will execute biological studies and act as a mentor for junior staff. Your responsibilities will include preparing environmental plans and managing relationships with regulatory agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and conduct biological surveys based on protocols
• Monitor environmental compliance during construction phases
• Serve as main contact between field team and Project Manager
• Prepare monitoring reports and mitigation plans
• Establish relationships with regulatory agencies and contractors
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in biology or related field
• Registered Professional Biologist designation required
• 5+ years of experience in biological studies
• Knowledge of BC survey protocols and habitats
• Erosion control certification is an asset
