As a key member of the Environmental Assessment and Community Engagement team, you'll plan and execute biological surveys while mentoring junior staff. This position requires a Registered Professional Biologist designation and a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Your work will impact projects across British Columbia, contributing to technical excellence and superior service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan biological surveys and sampling per protocols
• Monitor field activities for compliance during construction
• Serve as liaison between field staff and Project Manager
• Prepare monitoring reports and mitigation plans
• Establish relationships with regulatory agencies and contractors
Requirements:
• Relevant university degree or technical diploma
• Registered Professional Biologist (RPBio) necessary
• Five years of experience in biological studies
• Knowledge of BC survey protocols and habitats
• Certification in erosion and sediment control preferred
