In this senior role, you will leverage over 13 years of experience to lead aquatic baseline studies and habitat assessments. Your expertise in regulatory strategy will strengthen relationships with government agencies like DFO and the BC Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship. Collaborate with technical experts while mentoring junior staff and engaging with stakeholders to meet project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead aquatic baseline studies and fish habitat assessments
• Design and implement monitoring programs in field settings
• Prepare technical reports and regulatory submissions
• Liaise with government agencies for compliance
• Support permitting processes and stakeholder engagement
Requirements:
•
B.Sc. in fisheries and aquatic biology
• 13+ years of relevant experience
• Registered Professional Biologist in BC
• Strong technical writing skills
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
