Position: Biologist for Environmental Monitoring
AtkinsRéalis seeks a Biologist for environmental monitoring in Vancouver, BC. Play a critical role in conducting field surveys and assessments for various projects across British Columbia.

Your mission includes ensuring compliance with environmental regulations during the construction phases of projects. As a professional with a minimum of five years' experience, you’ll be responsible for coordinating surveys and mentoring junior team members. You will also prepare environmental monitoring plans and establish key relationships with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct biological surveys across diverse habitats

• Monitor compliance with environmental management requirements

• Act as liaison between field activities and Project Manager

• Prepare reports and mitigation plans for projects

• Develop relationships with regulatory and construction stakeholders

Requirements:

• Relevant University degree or diploma in biology

• Registered Professional Biologist (RPBio) is mandatory

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of BC terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems

• Certification in erosion and sediment control preferred
