In this senior role, you will assist with comprehensive wildlife field programs, enhancing ecological assessments and amplifying sustainable strategies for mining and energy initiatives. Your contributions will directly impact environmental compliance and the relationships built with Indigenous communities, regulators, and industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to wildlife field programs across the region
• Develop ecological assessments and mitigation recommendations
• Conduct literature reviews to support wildlife strategies
• Foster collaboration with Indigenous communities and industry
• Ensure compliance through detailed technical and reporting processes
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Biological Sciences or related field
• Minimum of 1 year in wildlife biology or consulting
• Experience with field surveys is essential
• Understanding of environmental regulations is beneficial
• Strong ability to communicate and build team relationships
Lead conservation efforts and ecological assessments as a Senior Associate Wildlife Biologist with ERM.
