Hydrogeologist Groundwater Modeler

As a member of SLR Consulting's talented team, you will utilize your expertise in hydrogeology to tackle complex projects in Canada and internationally, including Australia and South America. This position requires strong mentorship, client service capabilities, and technical skills in groundwater modeling and contaminant transport. You'll collaborate closely with senior hydro geologists to drive project success and innovate solutions in mine water management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on hydrogeological projects in diverse locations
• Develop groundwater flow and contaminant transport models
• Review groundwater-related data for modeling purposes
• Create 3D hydrogeological conceptual models with advanced software
• Travel to project sites as required
Requirements:
• MSc or PhD in Hydrogeology or related field
• 10+ years of groundwater modeling experience
• Proficiency in numerical modeling software (e.g., GMS, FEFLOW)
• Familiarity with Python, FORTRAN, and model development
• Valid driver’s license for travel
