SRK Consulting is on the lookout for a junior to intermediate hydrogeological modeler to enhance their Groundwater Group. This position involves expertise in groundwater flow modeling, supporting hydrogeology, mining, and geochemistry teams. SRK values continuous learning and offers hands-on field experiences to its employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and evaluate groundwater flow and contaminant models
• Liaise with engineering teams for project support
• Involve in comprehensive mining studies from start to finish
• Assist in developing site models considering diverse factors
• Prepare clear and impactful reports for clients and stakeholders
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field
• Experience with groundwater modeling software like FEFLOW™
• Familiarity with coding, statistics, and geological software
• Strong communication and writing abilities
• Must be eligible for professional registration in BC
