In your role as a Groundwater Modeler, you will collaborate with seasoned hydro geologists to tackle complex mine water issues globally. Your technical expertise in numerical modeling and mentorship will enhance project outcomes both locally and internationally. Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on diverse hydrogeological projects in multiple regions
• Refine contaminant transport models with senior input
• Interpret groundwater data for conceptual and numerical models
• Develop comprehensive 3D hydrogeological conceptual models
• Travel as required for project execution
Requirements:
• MSc or PhD in Hydrogeology, emphasizing numerical modeling
• 10+ years of relevant groundwater modeling experience
• Proficiency with software like GMS and FEFLOW
• Experience scripting in Python and other programming languages
• Valid driver’s license for travel purposes
