As a Senior Geochemist, you will lead geochemistry and hydrogeochemistry programs r expertise in mineralogy, metal leaching, and acid rock drainage will guide key projects from design through closure. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while mentoring junior professionals and fostering client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage baseline studies and predictive geochemical modeling
• Lead teams in environmental impact assessments
• Develop strategies for mining geochemistry services
• Conduct health and safety site visits for technical oversight
• Mentor junior staff and enhance geochemical methodologies
Requirements:
• Degree in geology, geochemistry, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in the mining industry
• Proven expertise in metal leaching and acid rock drainage
• Business development and client engagement skills
• Professional Geoscientist registration or eligibility in Canada
