WSP is seeking a Senior Geochemist / Principal Geoscientist to lead transformative projects with a strong emphasis on mineralogy, metal leaching, and environmental geochemistry. You will play a critical role in guiding multidisciplinary teams through baseline studies, environmental assessments, and mine design, establishing trusted client relationships while mentoring the next generation of professionals in geochemistry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead geochemistry programs for mine design and operations
• Deliver geochemical baseline studies and predictive modeling
• Guide teams in developing environmental impact assessments
• Drive client engagement and project identification
• Mentor junior geochemists and promote technical excellence
Requirements:
• Degree in geochemistry or geology, with 10+ years of experience
• Expertise in mineralogy and acid rock drainage
• Proven track record in geochemistry project delivery
• Professional Geoscientist registration or eligibility
• Proficient in geochemical software applications
