Advance your career as an Intermediate Hydrogeologist within a reputable consulting firm in Vancouver, BC, with potential for remote work in Canada. This role involves significant technical exposure in mining and water resource projects.
In this full-time position, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on groundwater management tasks, from exploration to mine closure. With at least five years of practical experience, you'll design and oversee hydrogeological field programs and drilling operations. Your analytical skills will be crucial for interpreting environmental datasets and preparing technical reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and operate deep groundwater instrumentation
• Conduct aquifer testing and hydraulic testing programs
• Support water balance assessments for mining projects
• Mentor junior staff on project tasks
• Coordinate with geochemists and geotechnical engineers
Requirements:
• Degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Mining industry exposure desired
• Strong communication skills for technical writing
