This initial appointment is for a one-year term at 40 hours per week, with possibility of extension subject to work performance and available funding. The starting salary is $95,000 per annum.

** The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver campus, is seeking a full-time Research Associate to join the laboratory of Professor Robert Rohling. This position will involve research on the design, fabrication and testing of novel ultrasound devices.

The Research Associate will work on the computer simulation of new ultrasound transducers, optimization of performance parameters, design of real-time ultrasound devices, testing, and data analysis of ultrasound signals on both medical and non-medical applications.
