This permanent position involves a variety of tasks related to flooring installation. Key responsibilities include preparing and planning installations, measuring and cutting materials, and ensuring quality installations. This role requires a physical presence onsite and fosters a hands-on approach to work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and prepare surfaces for flooring
• Cut and install carpet and hardwood materials
• Remove existing floor coverings efficiently
• Employ knee kickers and equipment for installation
• Estimate costs and prepare materials for jobs
Requirements:
• Secondary (high) school diploma needed
• 1 to less than 7 months of experience expected
• Must work on-site; remote work not allowed
• Valid work authorization in Canada is a must
• Open to youth mentorship and training
