Qualifications:

  • Red Seal Journeyman Technician
  • High Voltage experience an asset
  • A valid drivers license, and clean drivers abstract
  • Criminal record check required upon hire

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics, analyze the problems from multiple perspectives, and perform maintenance and repairs
  • Provide excellent quality service of all mechanical/electrical repairs and display attention to detail
  • Perform Polestar Performance Optimization and install Polestar Performance Parts for Volvo road vehicles
  • Represent this superior brand by providing the highest quality service to customers
  • Keep abreast of trends and technology through training and technical bulletins
  • Understand and follow federal and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
  • Perform multi-point-inspection (MPI) on most customer vehicles
  • Write compelling notes & take videos of recommendations to assist in customer understanding
  • Perform accurate diagnosis and repairs. This may include complex electrical issues
  • Personally assure the accuracy and quality of each job performed including road-test
  • Follow all warranty processes to ensure claims are payable
  • Work with technical assistance centre when required and on complex repairs
  • Assume responsibility for each job performed and quality of service and repair
  • Write clear and thorough notes on all recommendations and work performed
  • Review recommendations and repairs with the customer-facing service team
  • Attend service meetings when called by the service manager
  • Work expeditiously towards completing and maintaining Training Certification
