As a Line Technician, you will be pivotal in ensuring effective communication within the military. With responsibilities including the management of copper and fiber optic cable installations, you will gain extensive hands-on experience. Successful candidates will navigate both indoor and outdoor environments, working at heights and in confined spaces, applying stringent safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain wire communication systems
• Integrate radio, satellite, and microwave equipment
• Work with communication towers and antennas
• Repair and support cable infrastructure
• Ensure safety compliance in diverse environments
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or Secondary 4
• Training in working aloft and confined spaces
• Ability to work outdoors and at heights
• Physical fitness for demanding tasks
• Willingness for ongoing training and skill development
