Become a Refrigeration and HVAC Specialist at UBC, maintaining vital cooling systems across the university. Your expertise will ensure exceptional service and minimal downtime.

In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing refrigeration systems, including environmental chambers and chilled water systems. With a focus on compliance and safety, you'll conduct inspections and preventative maintenance, being a key player in the university’s operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and maintain refrigeration and HVAC systems

• Conduct preventative inspections and maintenance

• Install and commission new machinery

• Read and interpret technical schematics

• Communicate with other trades for optimal service

Requirements:

• Red Seal or BCTQ Refrigeration Certification

• 3-5 years of relevant experience

• Valid B.C. Class 5 driver's license

• Proficient in mechanical procedures

• Committed to safety and quality
