Take the lead in maintenance planning with BC Ferries at Horseshoe Bay. This role is crucial for maintaining a high standard of service through methodical planning and strong communication skills.
In your role as a Maintenance Planning Specialist, you will be responsible for organizing preventative and diagnostic maintenance services. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will estimate costs, materials, and manage the workflow for repair orders. Your efforts will play a key role in ensuring reliability and performance while adhering to deadlines in high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and organize work requests and resources
• Develop and confirm parts and material availability
• Maintain detailed records of job plans and maintenance
• Manage service request and workflow processes
• Monitor ongoing jobs and recommend improvements
Requirements:
• Red Seal Trade or Maintenance Management Certification
• 2 years of experience in maintenance planning
• Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems
• Strong motivation to work independently or in teams
• Clean BC Driver’s License required for potential travel
