This full-time, permanent position requires a qualified mechanic to perform systematic inspections and maintenance on Canada Post vehicles. You will analyze failures, recommend repairs, and certify vehicles as road worthy, while overseeing contractor work for safety compliance.
Your role is essential in maintaining operational efficiency and adhering to legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance on light and heavy vehicles
• Carry out inspections according to Canada Post standards
• Document and certify repairs for safety and reliability
• Overhaul defective parts and maintain shop tools
• Support frontline operations with vehicle insights
Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate of an Automotive Service or Truck Technician program
• Valid provincial license and appropriate vehicle certification
• Currently in the trade with physical endurance
• Commitment to health and safety standards
