Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Position

Join Purolator as a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic to inspect and repair on- and off-road heavy duty equipment. With a shift from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, you'll maintain vehicle safety and quality standards.

This position requires a Red Seal Heavy Duty Journeyman Certification and at least 3 years of experience. You'll diagnose and repair vehicles, ensure maintenance schedules are met, and assist in database management.

Your role is vital in ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely under demanding conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair heavy duty vehicles effectively

• Enter maintenance data in the repair database

• Communicate complex issues to the Foreman

• Respond to breakdown service calls independently

• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• Valid Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics license

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Journeyman Certification

• Class 5 driver’s license with a clear record

• Minimum 3 years as a Diesel Mechanic

• Strong problem-solving skills in mechanics
