Join the Event Services team at the Vancouver Convention Centre, where you'll support over 500 major events each year. This role is ideal for those with event or skilled trades experience. You will assist in electrical and plumbing installations, maintain clean work areas, and ensure event requirements are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with electrical and plumbing installations for events
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
• Restock equipment and manage inventory lists
• Support setup, maintenance, and breakdown of events
• Lift up to 50 lbs independently, or 110 lbs with help
Requirements:
• High school certification or equivalent
• Minimum 1-year experience in event industry or skilled trades
• Must obtain LPEC certification within 8 months
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and effective communication
• Availability for various shifts including nights and weekends
