HIT Carpenter – Skilled professional with comprehensive residential construction knowledge.
Responsibilities- Build wooden structures using components such as 2x materials, plywood, Microlam and Parallam beams, trusses, I‑joists, etc.
- Install insulation, vapour barrier, drywall, doors, trim, cabinets, etc.
- Add fittings and fixtures including door handles, hinges, locks, and closures.
- Comfortable working with subcontractors and supporting trades.
- Maintain job site quality, ensure projects are executed to the highest standards.
- 4 years of carpentry experience (required).
- Experience in residential construction, forming, framing, window and door installation, finishing work (base, case, and crown), millwork, etc.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, plumbing, electrical systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, boundless energy, and a “do whatever it takes” attitude.
- Vehicle in good working order for commuting to job site.
- Must reside in the Lower Mainland to be considered for the role.
- Wage $33–$37 per hour.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime.
- Tues–Fri schedule, occasional weekends.
- Two weeks paid vacation, 4% potential for unpaid time off.
