Elevate your mechanical skills with US Foods as an Associate Fleet Mechanic. This role focuses on preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel equipment in a supportive work environment.
As an Associate Fleet Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and reliable fleet. Key responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance within DOT standards and assisting senior technicians with complex repairs. You will also document repairs in our fleet maintenance system while ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform preventative maintenance on diesel trucks
• Complete repairs on various fleet equipment
• Assist senior mechanics with complex tasks
• Document repairs and parts used in our system
• Maintain a compliant, safe work environment
Requirements:
• 1 year hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic
• Own personal hand tools required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license needed
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs as required
