Elevate your career as a Certified Sprinkler Fitter with Viking Fire Protection in South-Central Vancouver Island. This role involves installation, inspection, and maintenance of critical fire protection systems.
Join our dedicated team reporting to the Superintendent, where you will handle a diverse range of fire protection equipment in commercial, residential, and industrial settings. Your expertise in sprinkler systems, piping networks, and suppression systems will be essential. We prioritize safety and seek candidates who can work independently or collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain fire protection systems effectively
• Inspect and modify existing sprinkler systems and equipment
• Repair fire extinguishers and kitchen suppression systems
• Read and interpret technical blueprints accurately
• Provide excellent customer service to all clients
Requirements:
• Red Seal Certification is mandatory
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license required
• Backflow testing certificate is an asset
• Safety-first mindset in all tasks
