Summary of Position:

Brian Jessel BMW is looking for a skilled Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to join our Service team. The BMW Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer vehicles to BMW factory standards and specifications. The Journeyman Technician will work with advanced BMW technology, follow manufacturer repair procedures, accurately document work performed, and contribute to overall shop productivity and customer satisfaction.

Advanced

Diagnostics & Repair
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems to BMW factory standards

  • Work with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and evolving vehicle technology

  • Perform repairs to exact specifications with a “
    fix-it-right-the-first time
    ” approach

  • Minimize comebacks through precision workmanship

Productivity & Documentation
  • Achieve shop productivity targets

  • Accurately document repair orders using Reynolds & Reynolds

Leadership & Development
  • Mentor and support apprentices

  • Continuously upgrade your skills through paid manufacturer training

Required
  • Journeyman Automotive Service Technician Certification (
    Red Seal preferred
    )

  • Strong diagnostic and repair experience (domestic, import, or luxury)

  • Valid BC Driver’s License with a clean abstract

  • Solid computer skills for diagnostics and shop systems

  • Ability to lift to 60 lbs and work in a fast-paced shop

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems to BMW factory standards

  • Work with cutting-edge diagnostic tools and evolving vehicle technology

  • Perform repairs to exact specifications with a “fix-it-right-the-first time” approach

  • Minimize comebacks through precision workmanship

Work Environment:

Our hours of operations are below. The hours and days of work are dependent on your role with a 40-hour workweek for full-time employment.

  • Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm

  • Saturday from 8:30am to 5:00pm
