Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out general repairs as required within and the exterior of the facilityCarrying out repairs on equipment, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, motor controls, pump seals, and motor bearingsWelding and fabricatingPreventative maintenanceMonitoring and maintaining two high pressure boilers and 2 low pressure boilersGeneral upkeep of the facility in a 24/7 steam & refrigeration plantTroubleshoot and repair industrial kitchen equipmentQualifications:
Have a 5th or 4th Class Power Engineering certificateMinimum 1 year experience as a maintenance tech working on electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, welding, commercial kitchen equipment, trouble shooting electrical faults and motor controls requiredJob Specific Requirements:
Previous maintenance experience is an assetCapable to Work Under pressure,Knowledge of HACCP procedures,Good communications skills, written, reading, speakingWilling to work shift work 24 hours / 7days, team playerNeeds to be mechanically inclinedKnowledge in Electrical, plumbing, welding, troubleshooting, refrigeration / HVAC is an assetOur Employees Must Be Able to:
Work assigned schedule which may include multiple shifts, weekends and holidaysWork Overtime when requiredFollow written specifications directionsGood communication skills reading/ writingComplete paperworkCommunicate with Supervisors and co-workersFollow directionsWork as a member of a teamEducation Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferredMust hold in good standing valid 4th or 5th class Power Engineering CertificateEnvironmental Requirements:
Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noiseMust be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five(75) poundsRegularly stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hoursRate of Pay: CA $36.90 per hour (CA $3 per hour premium for candidates holding a valid 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate)
