Barminco Canada is seeking experienced Scoop Operators to join their team at the Red Chris Mine in northern British Columbia. This role involves operating underground loading units on a 14/14 FIFO rotation, with camp accommodations and charter travel provided. The ideal candidates will have several years of underground mining experience and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

• Competitive wages: $54.49 – $64.05 per hour
• FIFO 14/14 rotation

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalency
• 4-5 years of experience as an underground miner
• Experience mucking with Sandvik LH621 loader or equivalent is an asset
• Valid Driver’s License; manual transmission experience an asset
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a camp setting on a rotational basis
• Ability to move materials up to 50 pounds
• Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination
• Ability to work in extreme weather and moderate to high noise environments
• Successful completion of a pre-employment Fit for Duty medical including alcohol and drug screening

• Previous experience with Sandvik LH621 loader
• Manual transmission driving experience
• Strong radio etiquette and communication skills
• Eagerness to learn and grow
