HVAC Mechanic at St. Paul's Hospital

Support essential heating and cooling systems l’s Hospital in Vancouver. As an HVAC/Refrigeration Mechanic, you’ll ensure that critical environmental systems function reliably for patient care.

This full-time position focuses on maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems at a state-of-the-art facility. You will engage in system installations, preventative maintenance, and repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards. Your work will help ensure a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain HVAC/R systems in the hospital

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cooling systems

• Troubleshoot and repair various HVAC equipment

• Operate Building Automation Systems to enhance performance

• Collaborate with facilities teams for optimal operations

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Certificate

• Class “B” Gas Fitter’s License recognized in BC

• Minimum two years of related experience

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills
