As a Refrigeration Mechanic in the Mechanical Operations Trades at UBC, you will perform essential repairs and maintenance on HVAC systems, environmental chambers, and other related equipment. Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose equipment failures in HVAC and refrigeration systems

• Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections for reliability

• Install new HVAC machinery including heat pumps and air conditioners

• Maintain lab equipment, guaranteeing precise environmental control

• Communicate effectively with other trades and customers
Requirements:

• Red Seal or BCTQ Refrigeration Certification

• 3-5 years of industrial experience

• Valid B.C. Class 5 driver's license

• Strong troubleshooting skills

• Knowledge of safe tool usage
