Heavy Equipment Technician - Aerial Boom Mechanic

A well-established Equipment Dealer is seeking a Heavy Equipment Shop Technician to join their team in Vancouver, BC. This a well tooled shop set up for major repairs on engines, booms, and large components,Technicians will be responsible for inspections, diagnostics, as well as repairs and maintenance on hydraulic and electrical systems on Genie, JLG, and more.

Qualifications:

4+ years of hands-on experience working on Heavy Equipment Mechanics with 10+ years experience will be given preference

Technicians with aerial lift equipment will be given preference

Ability to read and understand schematics is required

Mechanics with strong capabilities in diesel engines, diagnostics, electrical, and hydraulic systems will be requiredA positive work attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work both independently and as a team are required

Valid License Personal set of tools

Compensation:$55.00 - $60.00/hour to start

Shifts:

Day Shifts, 7:00am - 3:00pm Monday - FridayOT after 44 hours per week Opportunities for Overtime Mechanics will be required to have their own tools, as well as have a valid and insurable license prior to successful employment.#MHP
