Make a real impact as a full-time Carpenter with Providence Health Care l’s Hospital in Vancouver. Your skills in construction and maintenance will enhance patient care and facility safety.
In this critical role, you will support the new St. Paul’s Hospital, set to open in 2027, by performing essential carpentry work. Reporting to the Building Supervisor, your expertise will ensure that structural elements, fixtures, and furniture are safe and well-maintained. You will collaborate within a dedicated Facilities team, contributing skills for a vital healthcare project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and maintain woodwork, furniture, and fittings
• Install and repair building components per regulations
• Perform roofing repairs and general maintenance
• Interpret blueprints for construction projects
• Coordinate project schedules and procure materials
Requirements:
• Certificate of Apprenticeship or Qualification as a journeyman Carpenter
• Two years’ related carpentry experience
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong physical ability for tasks
