The Carpenter will interpret technical drawings and carry out construction work, repairs, and installations of various structures. Key tasks include managing materials and ensuring safety standards are met while working independently on site. Candidates must have a passion for carpentry and an eagerness to assist in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret blueprints to determine project specifics
• Construct, install, and repair structural elements
• Fit and install hardware and trim for projects
• Execute maintenance on wooden structures as required
• Assist in various non-carpentry duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in carpentry
• Preferred Red Seal certification or equivalent
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Capability to work at varying heights
• Must pass an RCMP Criminal Record Check
