Hyland Landscapes is looking for dedicated Carpenters for full-time roles across the scenic Lower Mainland. This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your carpentry skills in landscaping projects on site.
As a Carpenter at Hyland Landscapes, your focus will be on creating and maintaining high-end landscaping structures such as decks, cabanas, and decorative fences. You will also read blueprints, supervise fellow workers, and ensure all projects align with building codes. Travel to various sites is anticipated as part of the job.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct framing for decks and stairs
• Build custom enclosures, gates, and screens
• Interpret technical drawings for project specifications
• Utilize measuring tools for precise layout preparation
• Repair and maintain existing outdoor structures
Requirements:
• 3-4 years experience in landscaping carpentry
• Secondary School diploma required
• Proficient in English communication
• Transport for commuting to construction locations
• Flexible schedule, including weekend work
