Electrician Position at Coeur Mining

Embark on a rewarding Electrician role with Coeur Mining, Inc. at the Silvertip Mine in Vancouver, BC. Work in a challenging, camp-based setting at $56/hour with a rotational schedule.

Ideal candidates must possess a valid Red Seal or Interprovincial Journeyman’s Certificate.

Experience with high-voltage systems (4160 & 600 volts) and familiarity with Fiber Optic systems is essential. The role requires a commitment to safety and the ability to work effectively in a remote and diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute installation and maintenance of electrical systems

• Observe strict safety regulations within the mining camp

• Work collaboratively with a cross-cultural workforce

• Conduct repairs and troubleshooting on electrical equipment

• Participate in required safety and skill advancement training

Requirements:

• Red Seal or Interprovincial Journeyman’s Certificate required

• Significant experience with 4160 & 600 volt systems

• Knowledge of Fiber Optic systems preferable

• Ability to work 14-day rotations at remote locations

• Physically fit for the duties of the job
