Lead landscape projects as the Landscaping Foreman with Houston Landscapes Ltd. in North Vancouver, BC. This full-time role is dedicated to ensuring superior landscape quality and effective team leadership.
In this permanent position, you will conduct daily inspections to uphold landscaping standards while managing a team of 16-20 maintenance workers. You will also be involved in planning and estimating labor and materials essential for project success and training new hires.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect landscapes to meet quality and presentation standards
• Prioritize and assign horticultural tasks to team members
• Maintain accurate work logs and personnel records
• Oversee installation of diverse landscaping features
• Organize site excavation and grading operations
Requirements:
• Completed gardening apprenticeship or equivalent experience
• Valid driver's license; experience with tractors required
• At least three years of supervisory experience
• Proven ability to manage a large team
• Willingness to perform in varying weather conditions
