A-Ticket Tower Crane Operator — High-Rise Concrete Forming

Robertson Forming Ltd.
Location: Vancouver, BC
Pay: based on experience and qualifications (competitive)

Robertson Forming Ltd. is looking for an experienced A-ticket tower crane operator to join our high-rise concrete forming crew.

We’re looking for someone who shows up on time, takes pride in their work, and understands how much a skilled crane operator contributes to a safe, productive jobsite. If you communicate clearly, stay focused, and bring a positive attitude to a busy forming crew, we want to hear from you.

The role
  • Operate a tower crane for high-rise concrete forming, including moving gang forms, table forms, reinforcing steel, equipment, and concrete buckets.
  • Work closely with foremen, riggers, and signal persons to coordinate lifts and keep the crew moving efficiently.
  • Plan ahead, understand daily priorities, and help minimize avoidable downtime.
  • Complete required inspections and operating records, and promptly report equipment concerns.
  • Maintain safe lifting practices and communicate changing conditions, hazards, or unsafe requests.
What we’re looking for
  • A valid A-ticket crane operator qualification applicable to the crane being operated.
  • Proven tower crane experience on high-rise concrete forming projects.
  • Consistent punctuality and reliable attendance—ready to work at the scheduled start time.
  • Smooth, accurate operation and sound judgment under pressure.
  • Clear radio communication and a respectful, team-focused attitude.
  • A strong production mindset, with the judgment to stop and resolve safety concerns before proceeding.

We value operators who take ownership, look ahead, and help the whole crew succeed. Safe operation and strong production go hand in hand.
