Senior Accountant

Paul Davis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role works closely with the Controller and plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month‑end and year‑end close activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with GAAP.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment where accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement are valued. • Prepare accurate weekly and monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Perform account reconciliations, including cash, vendor credit, and balance sheet accounts.
• Reconcile and record corporate credit card activity.
• Analyze monthly budget variances and provide financial insights.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Help maintain and strengthen internal accounting controls.
• Support annual CPA reviews and audit preparation.
• Partner with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Job Cost Accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Collaborate with the Controller on process improvements and special projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with account reconciliations, month‑end close, and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Familiarity with Quick Books Online and  preferred.
