Senior Accountant | High-Growth Pre-IPO Technology Company
DC, MD, and VA HQ's (100% Onsite)
Are you looking to make an impact beyond the traditional accounting role? A rapidly growing pre-IPO technology company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its expanding finance team during an exciting period of growth and transformation.
This is an opportunity to work directly with executive leadership while helping build the accounting infrastructure of a company preparing for its next stage of growth. What You'll Do- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
- Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting schedules
- Assist in preparing financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
- Partner with leadership on IPO readiness initiatives
, including documenting and enhancing SOX-compliant internal controls - Collaborate with external auditors and consulting partners during audit and compliance activities
- Help improve accounting policies, procedures, and financial reporting processes
- Contribute to building a scalable finance organization within a fast-paced technology environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Combination of public accounting and corporate accounting experience preferred
- CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
- Experience with Net Suite is a plus
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
